Who we are

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you type into our website chat.
• Business information you share so we can build and manage your website.
• Standard website data such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location, used to keep the site working and to see what people read.

How we use it

• To reply to you and answer your questions.
• To provide and manage the services you buy from us.
• To send service messages about your account, your website, and your appointments.
• To send marketing messages, only where you gave separate express written consent.

Text messages

You can ask us to text you at the sign-up form at lumawebsitedesign.com/sms-opt-in/ or through the chat widget on this website. Everything there is optional. You never have to give us your mobile number to hire us, to get a quote, or to use this website.

The sign-up form offers two separate consents, each on its own checkbox that starts out unticked, and you can take either one, both, or neither:

• Service messages: appointment and call reminders, replies to questions you send us, and updates while your website is being built.
• Marketing messages: occasional offers and promotions on our services. This consent sits on its own checkbox, and it is not required to receive service messages or to buy anything from us.

You can stop either kind on its own. Stopping the marketing texts does not stop the service texts.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
• Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Marketing consent is collected separately from service messages and is optional.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to run the business, for example website hosting, email delivery, and messaging platforms. They only receive what they need to do that job for us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep client records while you are a client, and afterwards for as long as tax and legal rules require. Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we are required to keep them.

Your choices

Email winston@lumawebsitedesign.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Reply STOP to any text message to stop text messages.

This site uses cookies to keep it working and to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
